CUI Student Seminar

ACM CUI · Online seminar series · Pilot season Feb 2027

Present. Listen. Connect.

Conversational AI is moving fast, and some of its most exciting ideas are coming from researchers at the start of their careers. The CUI Student Seminar is a new online series that brings that work to you, open to everyone around the world.

One emerging researcher. One fresh paper. One open conversation.

PhD students · master's researchers · postdocs

Want to present?

Get your work in front of peers worldwide, practice your talk in a friendly room, and walk away with fresh ideas for your next paper, deadline, or defense.

Everyone, anywhere

Want to listen?

Hear new research straight from the people who did it, ask about the choices and dead ends that never make it into the paper, and meet others working on the same problems you are.

Now calling the presenter cohort for February 2027. The pilot's first presenters and attendees will help shape what the seminar becomes.

Missed the deadline? You can still submit afterwards, or resubmit for the next series. We'll contact selected presenters one month before their session.

The seminar is hosted by the student community of ACM CUI, the SIGCHI-sponsored conference that has brought together researchers working on speech, chatbots, and conversational AI since 2018.
